What are peer to peer GPUs?
These are GPUs run by professionals for the sole purpose of running AI. They are optimized for this workload and run a full linux environment.
We have no plans to support dense operations or higher tier data centers. These go against the principles of being decentralized and also increase costs for users.
What about security?
8Scale will do its best to encrypt secrets and data while communicating, but it can never achieve data center like security with peer to peer GPUs.
For secure workloads needing better security practices or need more centralized storage, please use other platforms like Modal, or RunPod.
